Weakend Trip to Thekkady Periyar Tiger Reserve - A Tourist Desination in Karala

The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. The Periyar forests of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.

We Visited Here in 2015 April 18th.

Boating is the main attraction. It was a good experiance. Unfortunatly we can't see a good sighting of wild life expect some Indian Guar. The landscaping is priceless.

We are staying at Periyar House. Sitatued inside the sanctuary. Our Childs Enjoyed Very Well.

On the way we visited Cumbam a farming village in Tamilnadu.
